REVERB
...Thursday Sept 8th

Malphunktion (Daniella Downs vs DJ A.M.P.)
Symbiotic / B.A.D. ASS / Good Vibes

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the last 10 years, you’d be amiss not to know the names Daniella Downs and Dj a.M.p. Having 20 years of dj’ing and event throwing combined under their belt, these 2 longtime veterans of the game have joined forces with one goal in mind. Total Phunktastic Domination. Wheather it be at their legendary parties like Superfunkidiculous, Red, White & Blown, When in Rome, Spk/Ez, Transmission or the epic Back to the Future, these two know how to rock parties on multiple levels, and have destroyed every dancefloor they’ve touched. Be prepared for a tricked out funky house assault like you haven’t heard in years.

Ham Bears (Rx vs Obscure)
B.A.D.A.S.S/ Euphoric Productions/ Audiolab

Rx aka Bryant McGaughy has been djing for almost 15 years. He started off with Breaks back in 1996. He has spun everything from Uk Hard House to Dnb to even Uk Hardcore. These days Rx spins a unique blend of Breaks, Electro, Fidget and Dubhouse. He has a knack for tearing up dancefloors and mesmerizing his audience keeping them wanting more. His hard hitting basslines have been known to cause severe eargasms. Rx has played parties with such great djs/producers as Frankie Bones, Charles Feelgood, Feed Me, Steve Aoki, Deekline, Will Bailey, Lee Coombs, Dave Ralph, DJ Irene, Rusko, Calvertron, Hot Pink Delorean, Excision, Downlink, Nigel Richards, Dieselboy, Dara, and AK 1200 to name a few. He is not to be missed.

Obscure -
B.A.D.A.S.S / Symbiotic / Slowkids
"Brought up in the Baltimore electro scene, at an early age, Marcus Simes (DJ 0bscure, VA) has moved up and down the east coast playing festivals, clubs, both indoor and outdoor events, and renegades since the early age of 18. Moving people with a combination of hard-hitting electro, carefully selected dubstep influenced breakdowns, progressive melodic intros, and exceeding amounts of energy on stage, 0bscure is well on his way. If it's not the track selection, it's the carefully composed progression of his sets that sets him apart. Steadily making his way up the ranks in as little as 2 years, this DJ shows no signs of stopping.

Christian Dope
Light It Up Productions / Audiolab / VA's Finest

Christian Dope aka The Hebrew Hammer has been a new kid on the scene for the past year or two now, bringin fresh flavor and pushing vibrations of gritty, party rockin music that bumps. Specializing in slangin fidgety jackin house, electro, dutch riddims, and breakbeats chill to slammin, his aim is to get the freakout goin and make the booties of all creeds get the funk down. Though he was born about 10 years late, he makes up for it with a determined attitude to carry on the spirit of the old school parties. Interests include stuffin haters, respecting women, ill gear, big tunes, and drank of all colors.

Chris Bulla

A true legend of the underground Rave scene. Emerging as a must-hear DJ in the early 90's, Chris Bulla has continuously evolved with the music as it's progressed throughout the years. Whether it's Techno, Breaks, House, or more recently Future Bass/Dubstep, Bulla's music selection runs deep, finding the most obscure and forward thinking sounds available in any genre.

As the former owner of Baltimore's longest running record store Modern Music, he closed up shop in 2005 and decided to move West to San Francisco, Ca, where he re-established the brand online as www.modernmusicsf.com, an archive of old-school mixtapes and event fliers. This site has become a favorite source for flashbacks and great memories for many people.

Now back in his hometown of Baltimore, you better bust out your best pair of Adidas and be prepared to sweat because with Bulla on the decks, you're about to get put in check.
